Harvesters in Wenden, Arizona

We had to escape from our office just to get some work done in October. So we went to Lake Alamo again. Wenden is the little town where we do our laundry and get cell connection.  There, we met some pretty down to earth people. It's rather humbling, especially when you come from a big town like Los Angeles where Earth seems to be a distant planet.

This is my America.

Hi Salome and Aguila: I really appreciate your visit to my blog. Its purpose is to showcase my photography of interesting people and places in our community/country. However, I do not want this blog to turn into a political forum where my photo subjects are being "grilled" over. If you need to discuss such matters, please choose the appropriate blog or forum. But not here. There is a sacred trust that a photographer has with their subjects: that they are not put in a demeaning context or a place of contempt. It would be like if I took a picture of you on the street and said something derogatory or something that may or may not be true about you or simply made fun of you. And this, in a public arena such as the internet. I feel that through these discussions, this sacred trust is broken. So I have pulled the one photo from this blog as well as the comments. It's sad, because it is one of my best work in my photographic journey.

A blog that can't take a correction/criticism is not a blog it's a personal gratification page... This is not about politics, it's about law and deception, and you were deceived. Keep your head in the sand and make the bad look rosey thru your photography.. Deception is not truth... but after all this is America and you have the 'right' to try.
I am also a photographer and when I get something incorrect I buck up and take the criticism.. There is no 'sacred trust' in public. PC is not a virtue, it's a disability. No one was being 'grilled', JUST STATING FACTS...
We all had a good laugh over here at the photo and caption and agree that lulu is fitting for blog. name.
