I have been working on my lighting skills since I was in San Francisco last November. The city is full of high rises so you cannot help but notice the slivers of light coming through between the buildings. In fact, I found myself hunting for the light. But with tall buildings, spots of sunlight was hard to come by. But when I found it, I stayed for a long time, hoping for things to happen in the light. Unfortunately, people kept avoiding the light. Here's what I was able to capture.

I met this couple on the tram. They were both colorfully dressed. They stood out from the crowd. I asked them what they were dressed for and they said that they were coming back from the Opera. It was clear they enjoyed their life. I loved that they were at ease and confident with who they are.
